We worked with Katelyn to plan a big family trip, and couldn't have been happier with her help! She asked great questions and gathered information about budget and timing, hopes, favorite past travel experiences, etc. and then helped build a scaffolding for the trip, with a nice (but not overwhelmingly huge) selection of options to plug in. She was super flexible in making changes along the way as we fine-tuned our choices. And all her finds -- small hotels, local guides, assistance with ground transportation -- were excellent and made the whole vacation smooth and wonderful.

Tarina from Pioneer Travel found the perfect getaway for our family to celebrate multiple achievements! We are a family with 2 young adult children and had a relaxing sun and sand all inclusive trip to TRS Turquesa in Punta Cana, a luxurious resort that catered to our every need! Thank you, Tarina!

We just returned from an awesome trip to Fairbanks, Alaska. We worked with Allison S. at Pioneer Valley Travel and her attention to detail and professionalism made the trip PERFECT! She was enthusiastic in making the plans for us and helping to fill our bucket list wish to see the Northern Lights. Allison worked to line up everything from flights, to hotel and shuttle rides, and tickets for events. When we were getting ready to leave for our trip, we received an outline of our itinerary with dates, times, and phone numbers in case we needed any help. Amazing Trip Thanks to Shelley! Shelley helped plan the trip of a lifetime to Ireland! The most beautiful place on Earth! Every stop was incredible. Renting a car was a great recommendation, and we managed to see SO much in 10 days, perfectly balancing sightseeing and relaxation. Shelley was absolutely fantastic to work with! She made the entire process of planning our trip so easy and enjoyable. Her recommendations were spot on, and her attention to detail ensured that everything went smoothly from start to finish. We’re so grateful for her help in making this a trip we’ll never forget!

Scheduling my trip to the west coast for a family reunion.. was easy.. and fun..the staff was helpful with my calls pre trip to see if there were earlier flights.. And.. the assurance of staff support if there were any travel interruptions was great to know. Will be back to to book my next trip!

Worked with Gillian to book hotels for a roadtrip. Very helpful to have our stays identified in advance in peak season. The "Courtyard" in Rockville IL was conveniently just off the highway, room was ready when promised and we could walk to a few restaurants. Delta Hotel (by Marriott) in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario was 1/2 mile off the border bridge on the Canadian side and on the river. The restaurant was better than average and there was a nice walkway along the river for after dinner strolls. Room was ready and clean. Best Western Parry Sound, ON was a bit of a disappointment because of the location just at the edge of town, maybe 2 miles to historic area waterfront. That said, after driving around there don't appear to be many waterfront hotels except for resorts/lodges where you'd be expected to stay more than overnight. The Best Western was comfortable and easy to get to from highway. The Strada Hotel, Kingston ON (Thousand Islands area) was about 1.5 miles from the tourist part of downtown, and is the main occupant and owner of what is otherwise a stripmall with, e.g., a nail salon and a Pizza Hut. One bonus is that parking is free above and underground - which isn't the case in historic downtown hotels. The Strada offers light breakfast in the a.m., and snacks and drinks, all for a fee, in the evening. Rooms have decent amenities but I found the mattresses and pillows uncomfortable. If staying a few nights, as we did, I wouldn't choose this location, and Pioneer Travel had not initially booked us here - we asked for the change, so that mistake is on us. Kingston has some decent restaurants near the historic waterfront and one of the many ferries that tours the Thousand Islands leaves from here. But if we ever go back we'd choose a different town/city to stay in. One place we'd recommend is Gananoque, 20 miles east of Kingston. Kingston is a city and Gananoque is smaller, more charming, with more choices of ferry tours leaving from there.

We used Pioneer Valley Travel for our honeymoon to Italy (Rome, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast), and cannot recommend their services enough! Working with Michelle was a great experience, she was professional, friendly and so helpful. All of the excursions and activities they booked for us were incredible, we loved our hotels, and all of the travel (flights, trains, tours, private drivers) all went so smoothly. We will definitely use them again for future travel!

My travel agent, Shelley Cronin, was excellent. She understood what I wanted in a dive trip to Mexico, and researched top rated hotels and dive centers. Shelley booked my flights immediately, and communicated regularly to clarify all details. We just returned home from a fantastic trip to England. Martha, who usually does an incredible job planning our vacations, was away on a trip. We spoke with Lindsay who did an equally thorough and amazing job for us. It takes a great deal of options, planning, and decision making to pull off a memorable trip and we were so happy it went off without a hitch. Shelley Cronin is the best!!!! She literally saved our 3 week vacation in Europe. We had booked our own trip to Rome and a 2 week cruise. Our cruise was cancelled 2 days before we were set to board. We were already in Rome and weren't sure which way to turn. We called Shelley in a panic. She found us another cruise which was even better and booked us a few days in Sorrento as well with a tour of Pompeii and a boat cruise to Capri! She took care of all details - extra flight- transfers- hotels- and did I mention this was over 4th of July and over her own vacation? We will be forever grateful!!! Thank you Shelley!
